Nice guys!

The other day I met with a fellow that I like and said words to the effect, "you are a nice guy".  That has been going through my mind a lot since I made that statement.  My dad was a "nice guy", and sadly, this seems to be a trite comment.  Being a nice guy is a BIG complement!  It probably means you listen respectfully without interrupting the person you are talking with.  It means you maintain eye contact and truly listen to the person.  It means that you will go out of your way to speak honestly.  There are degrees of being a nice guy, but I think we all know when we meet a "nice guy".  -- Enough
