Fatherhood

There are some great events in a man's life!  Mary Lou went into labor and my thought jumped to, "how good a father will I be".  The excitement of our daughter Kathy's birth will be with me forever.  Mary Lou had gone from 99 lbs when we married, to 142 lbs as she prepared to deliver our child.  Kathy was a large baby and as Kathy came out of delivery on Mary Lou's stomach, my pride was hard to explain.  I will never claim to be a great father, but I wanted to be honorable, conscientious, and a good provider.  I failed too often, but am proud to have been a father of four great kids!  -- Enough
